You can't edit your company's registered name yourself, because the Organisation field is locked. This makes sure buyers see the right legal entity.

How to request a change

Contact our support team and include:

• your current company name as it appears on the portal
• the new name
• confirmation of the change from Companies House
• authorisation from a director or equivalent at your company

Once we've checked this, we'll update your record.

If your company has merged with or been taken over by another

Contact our support team with the details of both companies. We'll advise on the best way to update or close the accounts.
